Colposcopy Equipment
With special colposcopy equipment it is possible to detect cervical cancer and other disorders; colposcopy is an effective diagnostic tool.
In the procedure, the doctor uses a colposcope - a large electric microscope with a bright light on the end of it. During the procedure, the woman sits on the special couch and the doctor puts a speculum into the vagina to visualize it.
With special colposcopy equipment it is possible to detect cervical cancer and other disorders; colposcopy is an effective diagnostic tool.

If the abnormality is found, LLETZ or LEEP procedure is prescribed for treatment.
