Prolapsed Cervix
A uterus that is prolapsed, cervix that is eroded or friable are symptoms of cervical cancer requiring a cone biopsy.
There are several options for uterine prolapse. A pessary can be placed into the vagina to elevate the uterus or surgery may be done via a laparoscope to shorten the ligaments that support the uterus. Hysterectomy is done to women who don't want to have children.

Prolapsed Cervix -

Surgical treatment of any sort is necessary only if the patient is experiencing pain during intercourse, pressure, urinary incontinence, urinary retection, or extreme degrees of prolapse. If there are no symptoms, there is no reasons to do anything at all. A uterus that is prolapsed, cervix that is eroded or friable are symptoms of cervical cancer requiring a cone biopsy.
