Carcinoma cervix may be diagnosed with colposcopy and treated with cone biopsy.
Pap smears are vital for early detection and prevention of cervical dysplasia. Atypical vaginal discharge, inter-period bleeding, bleeding during intercourse, and dyspareunia (painful intercourse) are observable signs of a serious disorder that indicate a woman should visit a doctor.
