Smoking and cervical cancer are correlated and increases the probability of a colposcopy and cone biopsy if pap smears are atypical.
Smokers increase the risk of all types of the disease, except endometrial adenocarcinoma. Every woman who smokes should pass through Pap smear annually; it can detect the problem on the early and treatable stage. If the abnormal bleeding from the vagina occurs, it may be the symptom of the disease.

Women who smoke apparently decrease the risk of developing endometrial adenocarcinoma. This effect is related to body weight. Heavier women who smoke have the greatest reduction in risk. But this advantage is strongly outweighed by the increased risk of lung and other major problems.
