Cervix carcinoma or cervical cancer is commonly treated using cryotherapy or LEEP procedure.
Pap smears for early detection and prevention of cervical dysplasia (pre-cancer) and identification of early warning signs is vital for intervention. Atypical vaginal discharge, inter-period bleeding, bleeding during intercourse, and dyspareunia (painful intercourse) are observable signs that indicate an advanced stage of the disorder when a woman should seek medical attention.

Cancerous cell types are referred to as “in situ” (localized) or “metastasized” (invasive.) Practically all cases of cervical malignancies are directly linked to HPV, so early detection of HPV and HSV presence is a good risk indicator when there are no symptoms of atypical tyssues.
