Cervical Cancer Pathology
Cervical cancer pathology is recommended to confirm stage of abnormality before cryotherapy or LEEP procedure is implemented.
There are for stages in this condition, labeled 0 through 4, with the 4th period being the most advanced. The tumor spreads to organs located near the cervix and other parts of the body far from the cervix.

Cryotherapy, LEEP Procedure
This condition is determined by information obtained through: biopsy and the pathology reports, cystoscopy, abdominal ultrasound, computer tomography, and magnetic resonance imaging. These methods determine the tumor’s size, depth of penetration, and spread within or beyond the cervix. Pap smear exam is used only to detect presence of atypical cells and tissues. Cervical cancer pathology is recommended to confirm stage of abnormality before cryotherapy or LEEP procedure is implemented.
