Cervical Cancer Risk Factors
Some cervical cancer risk factors could be a history of vaginitis, or if a history of cryosurgery has been performed.
Women over 35, women who had multiple sexual partners or a history of HPV or genital warts, women taking oral contraceptives are more succeptible to the disease. Precancers are completely curable when followed up properly. Infections of various types cause dysplasia, which can lead to development of abnormal tissues.
Some cervical cancer risk factors could be a history of vaginitis, or if a history of cryosurgery has been performed.

Vaginitis, Cryosurgery
Pelvic examinations, including PAP smear should be taken regularly. To reduce the chances of getting the disease women should take the following measures: avoid sexual activity before 18 years old, avoid promiscuous partners or use condoms, and discontinue any tobacco use. Some cervical cancer risk factors could be a history of vaginitis, or if a history of cryosurgery has been performed.
