Causes Cervical Cancer
HPV causes cervical cancer, and cryotherapy may not be an option at the cancer stage, and if human papillomavirus is the cause, this will also need to be monitored.

To reduce the chances of getting the disease women should take the following measures: avoid sexual activity before 18 years old, avoid promiscuous partners or use condoms, and discontinue any tobacco use.
